A note of gratitude

As I write to all our members, I reflect on what has been for many a disruptive and challenging month since our last newsletter – a month replete with events that seemed insurmountable and uncontrollable. Whether tropical weather, dry storms, fire, flooding or drought, even if you were affected by the destructive forces of nature you will have continued to be a pillar of support in the community you serve - persevering in your role as GP, RG, supervisor, practice manager and/ or practice principal...

Last chance to take GPSA's annual survey!

Don’t miss this chance to share your GP training experiences and help shape the future of supervision. Your feedback is crucial to improving support, wellbeing, and workforce retention for supervision teams across Australia.

Open to all involved in GP training: supervisors, GPs, practice managers, nurses, and more.

Research Update: Improving the supervision of IMGs - a GPSA research project by you, for you

Throughout 2025, GPSA is leading a collaborative project to develop a framework to support IMGs...

In April 2023, we launched the GPSA Community platform. As we approach the 2nd anniversary of this virtual community of practice, we have more than 3,000 activated members now networking with one another, connecting with us, and accessing exclusive benefits like discount codes for our mobile apps!

To celebrate this milestone, we are introducing a new suite of GPSA Community Member Benefits, starting with Member Information Sessions. These differ from our traditional educational webinars as they are not delivered under our remit as the GP supervision peak but in our role as a membership organisation.

Join us for our very first online Member Information Session:

Date: April 01, 2025 08:00 PM AEDT

So you've activated your free account on the GPSA Community... now what?

Join a group or five, register for an educational webinar or members-only info session, ask a question or offer up some wisdom, and take a moment to share your thoughts* on some of this month's member communiques:

*NB to reply to any public articles or posts, you must first activate your GPSA Community account. Please contact [email protected] if you need help with either the desktop or mobile app interface.

GPSA recognises the traditional custodians of the land and waterways on which GP/RG supervisors and training practice teams work and live.

The GPSA Board and team extend their gratitude to the Department of Health and Aged Care for entrusting this independent organisation to deliver AGPT support activities for GP and RG supervisors under Commonwealth funding.
