CEO Update June 2026

Success!!

Don't we love to succeed at things ... whether in sport, in business or in our own life as parents or family members.

One of the questions I have been asking myself lately is 'Just what does success look like?'

At GPSA we recently asked ourselves how many ENGAGE surveys we needed completed to determine it as a success (thankyou to every one of the 370 who completed it!).

For our first ever 24-hour online Supervision Symposium we asked ourselves how many people we needed for it to be deemed a successful event ... and it was ... with over 600 people joining us from all over the world. An amazing success!

For our monthly eNews a measure of success last month was the 42% opening rate, combined with the great feedback we again received from our members.

This month we launch our new Aspire Gifting Program, giving members and friends the opportunity to support GPSA as we provide support in areas for which we get no funding. Please help this make this a success and get a tax-deductible donation.

What about our day to day work at the Practice or in our Clinic - do we measure success by the number of patients, the reputation we obtain by providing first class medical services or does it simply come down to the care we show to each and every person who walks through our door?

To me success always begins by asking the question 'what does it look like?' and then reflecting on whether it was achieved. Sometimes success sneaks up on us because we realise along the way that we obtained wonderful benefits that were totally unexpected.

For GPSA, your success is our success … we aim to provide the resources and supports that enable you to provide the highest quality of supervision.

Wishing you every success!
