After the craziness of October / November, there could be no better way to wrap...

How well do you know your SLO?

The SLOs making up the national Supervisor Liaison Officer Advisory Committee facilitated by GPSA are a who's who of experienced GPs and RGs, practice owners, employed and tenant GPs - and they all have one main thing in common... They are dedicated to supporting you to be the very best supervisor, delivering the very best quality in supervision, to ensure the future of our primary healthcare system evolves and sustains for generations to come.

Have you already reached out to the SLO(s) in your region with your issues or ideas? Or, better yet, have you started catching up with them regularly?

As 2025 dawns, we thought we'd share some of the SLO wisdom and updates from the year in the rearview mirror...

Did you know...

Once you have identified who your SLO is, to contact them at any time you only need to log into your GPSA Community app, search for their name, and send them a message directly from your phone?

You can also use the app or desktop version of the Community platform to reach out via the Jurisdictional Supervision Team community group you've been assigned to by postcode.

Note

  • As SLOs are engaged on fractional appointments, you may not always get an immediate response. For anything urgent, please contact GPSA or your College's regional training team.

GPSA recognises the traditional custodians of the land and waterways on which GP/RG supervisors and training practice teams work and live.

The GPSA Board and team extend their gratitude to the Department of Health and Aged Care for entrusting this independent organisation to deliver AGPT support activities for GP and RGsupervisors under Commonwealth funding.
