
Congratulations Dr Helen Dooley, 2024 RACGP Victorian GP Supervisor of the Year
GPSA was thrilled that one of our members and RACGP SLO, Dr Helen Dooley, was celebrated in the recently announced 2024 RACGP Victorian Awards.
Each year, the Awards honour GPs and general practices who make an exceptional contribution to the health and wellbeing of their communities. Helen was praised for her leadership skills, she has motivated and inspired many GPs in training towards a long-term, fulfilling career in general practice. Helen has worked with GPSA for many years and has been a valued contributor to the supervision community throughout Australia.
The Victorian award winners for 2024 are:

Dr Helen Dooley, who works in Footscray, Melbourne (GP Supervisor of the Year).

Project Health General Practice in Traralgon, Gippsland (General Practice of the Year).

Dr Patrick Kinsella, a GP based in Lakes Entrance in East Gippsland (GP of the Year).

Dr Ameer Shehab, who works in Melbourne, (GP in Training of the Year).
The winners from Victoria have been shortlisted for the National awards, which will be announced at the RACGP GP24 conference in Perth from 21-23 November 2024.
