RACGP's July communiques

RACGP comunique for July 2024: for more information visit racgp.org.au

1. Supervisor professional development stipends have been processed

A reminder that eligible supervisor professional development stipends for 2024.1 have been paid to your training site.
Although stipends are paid to the training site, it’s expected that they will distribute the stipend in full to supervisors proportional to their involvement in supervisor professional development.
For more information, please refer to the RACGP supervisor professional development requirements and payments, or reach out to your training coordinator.

2. Update on Workplace Based Assessments for 2024.2

This semester, supervisors of GPT1 and GPT2 registrars are required to complete two mini-CEX and two RCAs via a paper template. The assessments aren’t required to be submitted unless a flag has been raised about performance.

What’s changing?
Starting in 2024.2, supervisors of GPT1, GPT2 and GPT3 registrars will need to complete two mini CEX and two RCAs per semester. The assessments will no longer be paper-based and will be completed directly in the Training Management System (TMS), like term assessments are. Targeted assessment guides will continue to be available for supervisors in the TMS.
