The GPSA Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Kylee Hayward as its new Chief Executive Officer. This follows an extensive national, sector wide search and several meetings with GPSA Directors.

Kylee is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience leading strategic growth, workforce development, professional education, and organisational transformation across the not-for-profit health sector. Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative programs, fostering strong stakeholder partnerships, strengthening governance, and achieving sustainable organisational outcomes.

Her collaborative leadership style, strategic vision, and commitment to advancing professional excellence position her well to lead GPSA into its next phase of growth and impact. She will work closely with the Board and lead the GPSA staff team, aligning efforts with the recently adopted five-year strategic plan.

GPSA Chair, Dr Candice Baker, said Kylee’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the organisation.

"Kylee brings a wealth of leadership experience and a proven track record of delivering meaningful outcomes in complex and evolving environments. Her strategic insight, collaborative approach, and commitment to excellence make her an outstanding choice to lead our organisation,” said Dr Baker.

Kylee brings great enthusiasm and leadership understanding to the role and will very capably build on the platform developed by interim CEO, Bruce Argyle.
