1. Supervisor Summit 2026 – Registrations Now Open
Melbourne | 12 - 14 August
After a successful inaugural event in 2025, Supervisor Summit 2026 is heading to Melbourne for the Rural Generalist and Rural GP Supervision event of the year!
Join us Wednesday 12 to Friday 14 August 2026 at the Novotel Melbourne Preston for practical, interactive sessions designed to strengthen your skills as a supervisor and support the training of future Rural Generalists.
ACRRM accredited supervisors will be eligible for a one-off reimbursement of $500 towards the cost of attending the event.
2. Join the ACRRM Team
If you're committed to supporting fellow supervisors and strengthening rural medical training in your region, we'd love to hear from you. We are currently seeking Supervisor Liaison Officers in Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia to join our team.

3. National Supervisor Webinar: Cultural Safety
Please join us on Thursday, 23 July at 7:00 PM AEST for the next National Supervisor Webinar.
This session will feature a presentation on Cultural Safety delivered by JCTS, an excellent opportunity for supervisors to deepen their understanding of this important topic. We look forward to seeing you there.

4. Online Remote Supervisor Workshop
Targeting supervisors working in MM 5+ or delivering an approved remote supervision plan, this highly interactive workshop is designed to provide education and networking opportunities. Scheduled from 1:00pm – 3:45pm AEST on Saturday, 4 July via Zoom.

5. NSW Supervisor Education Workshops
The ACRRM NSW/ACT regional team will be delivering face-to-face supervisor education across NSW in the coming months. These sessions provide a valuable opportunity to build and refresh your supervision knowledge, engage with the NSW/ACT ACRRM team, and connect with fellow local accredited supervisors.
Topics will include:
- Preparing registrars for ACRRM assessments
- When things go wrong: scenario-based challenging situations for the registrar, supervisor, and practice
- In-practice teaching: formal and informal approaches (including the interface between the Medical Educator and supervisor)
- Matching teaching and learning styles
