How do you hold back from micromanaging... everything?

Supervisors tread a fine line when it comes to the management of their learners. 

One key role of the supervisor is ensuring the safety of the practice's patients - a quality control function that can easily slip into micro-management.

Given another of the supervisor's key roles is ensuring the safety of their supervisee, it is vitally important to note that micromanagement is considered a form of bullying.
