1. Flexible payments update
Flexible payments still available for 2024 and 2025! We are encouraging applications from training posts and supervisors for flexible funding to support upskilling and capacity building to take our growing numbers of registrars.
Practices
Flexible payments support training posts with the additional costs incurred when training registrars in rural and remote general practice settings in MMM 2-7 locations. They cover additional costs in rural and remote delivery and ensure practices have the capacity to train registrars.
Funding can be used for such costs as:
- recruitment
- professional development, training and education for staff including additional supervisors
- developing training capability and capacity
- infrastructure.
Supervisors
Flexible Funds are available to eligible supervisors to subsidise costs of additional supervision, professional development, education, and training, aligning to MMM 2 – 7 locations. They cover:
- professional development payment ($2000) for principal supervisors – paid directly to the supervisor
- professional development for additional supervisors – paid through the practice
- additional supervision / teaching with a ACRRM approved plan)
- remote supervision allowance with a plan approved through ACRRM.
