An October to remember... or to survive, depending on the time of day!
Look up the definition of whirlwind and there may well be a picture of the GPSA team racing hither-thither to not one, not two, but THREE conferences (and three corresponding networking events that were BRILLIANT!) in October 2023!
From Adelaide for the AAPM conference, to Hobart for ACRRM and RDAA’s pre-WONCA RMA conference, and lastly to Sydney for the much-awaited and hugely-attended World WONCA conference hosted by the RACGP… And I might just share that my little team and I still had to keep on top of the usual needs of our members and the organisation after 14 hours of presenting and networking each day, including helping members through the placement process in October, and preparation for 1) the upcoming GPTA AGM, 2) the prevocational conference in November, and 3) the SLO Advisory Council meeting in December! Yep, we are just hanging on for the quiet period over Christmas!
As the matchsticks keeping my eyes open as I write this have started to buckle, I will let the photos taken across this month speak for themselves!!!
