1.      Upcoming Webinar - Preparing your practice for registrars - Thursday 21 November, 7.00pm (AEST).

Take this opportunity to learn tips and trick for preparing your practice for an ACRRM registrar.

At the end of this webinar, the GP supervisor will be able to:

  • Explain the Placement Process
  • Incorporate the roles and responsibilities of the practice and supervisor into a risk mitigation strategy.
  • Avoid potential conflict by embedding sound cultural practices into practice policies and frameworks
  • Incorporate ACCRM resources into orientation, training, teaching and supervision plans.
  • Instigate early cycles of assessment, remediation and reflective activities for the training doctor.

2.      ACRRM Awards

The annual ACRRM Awards were presented at RMA24 and again celebrated decades of commitment to the health and wellbeing of rural, remote and First Nations communities by health professionals.

The inaugural Outstanding Contribution to Rural Practice Management Award went to GPSA member Dianne Loubey from Victoria. You can read the media release here
