CEO Update July 2026
Change!!
How do you handle change? Are you someone who just 'rolls with the punches' or do you struggle to adapt at times?
I love a sign on a tips bowl in my local coffee shop: 'If you don't like change then leave it here' - that's one way of managing it - let someone else handle it! Of course that is not always possible.
It is a cliche to say that change is constant in our lives - in our practice, our work, our family, our circle of friends. It can be challenging, distressing, inspiring and motivating all in one.
GPSA is certainly undergoing a time of change: a new 5-year strategic plan, a new CEO in the person of Kylee Hayward, and the arrival of Alison Fenton as our new Communications and Marketing Manager this month following the departure of Pauline Ingham (big shoes to fill here - thanks for everything Pauline!) just to name a few.
Added to these changes we have the review of the NTCER, the development of a truly national supervision survey and the launch of our new 'ASPIRE' fund. All very important changes.
What is not changing is the GPSA team's commitment to providing practical and informed resources, training and support that facilitate best practice supervision. We are proud of the work we do as a peak body to help each of you be better informed and equipped for the important work you do locally and across the sector.
