Introducing Women supervisors’ CIRCLE – a new program designed specifically for women GP supervisors to connect, collaborate, and grow together in safe, supportive online spaces. This is an opportunity to share experiences, refine your supervision skills, build confidence, and expand your professional network.

The focus on “women supervisors” highlights the central focus on women in leadership roles as supervisors, role models and mentors, recognising their unique experiences and the energy, expertise and dedication they bring to their roles.

“CIRCLE” is inspired by the rich tradition of yarning circles in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, where individuals come together in safe, respectful spaces to share stories, learn from one another, and build strong connections. It represents Collaboration, Inspiration, Reflection, Leadership, and Empowerment, reflecting the core values of a nurturing, interconnected community.

We invite women GP supervisors – whether novice, experienced or expert - to express your interest to join Women supervisors’ CIRCLE and contribute to evaluating its impact.

Together, we can inspire more young women GPs to enter and thrive in GP supervision, fostering a supportive, career-enhancing environment that ensures the long-term sustainability of Australian general practice.
